The basement is done, the dirt is back-filled, and the deck is started. Tomorrow, Monday, July 6, the deck will be finished and then the walls will start going up. The "Care-a-vaners" will pull in to Marr Park with their RV's sometime tomorrow and will join us at the site everyday for the next 2 weeks. We're praying for a safe build with great weather and that the Holy Spirit will be present amongst us as we work to provide a home for Isabel and her children. Volunteers are welcome to join us for a few hours, a whole day, or whatever works into your schedule. I currently have all the noon meals set up for the next two weeks, but if you'd like to donate something, Gatorade or cold, fresh fruit is always appreciated for breaks. If you can't join the group, you can always keep the crew and the Tapia family in your prayers. Feel free to call me with any questions. 319-653-6945
