Address and family

Washington Area Habitat for Humanity's 16th home will be built for Isabel Tapia and her 3 children, Elizabeth, Bella and Joseph. The address is 1641 Highland Avenue- which is clear in the northeast part of Washington, Iowa. If you find 6th Ave north, go to the north end and the lot is the second from the corner. The rains have delayed digging (again), but soon there will be alot of activity going on there. We are blessed to have Pastor Jim Cluney as our site supervisor again this year. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to be at the site. All volunteers must sign a liability waiver before they begin (one time for the whole build), and must always sign in and out so that we can keep track of your volunteer hours. We also need people who are willing to bring over meals, snacks or Gatorade-type drinks. You can let me know through this site what you are interested in doing. I will try to post the times that volunteers can be at the site (volunteers can ONLY be there when a site supervisor is present). If you have questions, comments, etc, you can also call me at 319-653-6945.
